Senior Microgrid Engineer
Mahmoud Saleh is a Senior Microgrid Engineer and received his Ph.D. in Resilient Smart Grids from New York City College. He also holds a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering and System Engineering from New York City University. Mahmoud's previous work involved in handing the resilience of electric smart grids at the distribution and transmission level and also developed a new control hierarchy for autonomous operations of microgrids and microgrid communities during normal and severe conditions. This research earned Mahmoud 1st price in the 9th annual Graduate Student Research Symposium at CCNY and also resulted in a prize from the IEE Systems Council. Mahmoud is also a published researcher and has performed research in both cyber-attacks on cyber-physical systems (e.g. smart grids and microgrids) and utilizing Machine/Deep learning tools in the electric energy market.
