About the project

  • Client: Rocky Mountain Institute
The objective of this project is to produce a microgrid evaluation toolkit for airport decision makers and stakeholders, which addresses site-specific criteria for airports of all types and sizes. The toolkit will include a suite of reference materials designed to mitigate risk and address negative effects and true costs of power outages at airports, so that they can act self-sufficiently in the generation and management of their own power and assets. The project team consist of the Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI), BankableEnergy | XENDEE, Converge Strategies, Barrett Energy Resources Group, and James M. Crites LLC.
